As described in NRDR Accounts and Profiles, corporate account administrators (CAAs) and facility administrators (FAs) are important roles for NRDR participants. CAAs serve as the point of contact for your facility, responsible for receiving and responding to ACR e-mails and managing invoices. Both CAAs and FAs can invite users, manage user accounts, and manage registry participation for each physical facility, so it is very important to identify the right person(s) for these roles before you begin the registration process.

Because every corporate account must have a CAA, a CAA account is created as part of the initial application process. Ideally the CAA is the person who completes the registration process. If this is not the case, then make sure you have all of the correct data for the NRDR Corporate Account Administrator Information fields, including alternate contact information, before you begin the registration process on behalf of someone else.

When completing the application for a physical facility you may opt to have the FA be the same person as the CAA, or you can enter the name and e-mail address of someone else to be the FA, at which point the NRDR portal will send an invitation to that person so they can create their NRDR login account and become the FA for that facility ID.

You can change the CAA for a corporate account or change the FA for a facility by creating a new administrator account via the Manage User Profiles page. Because only one administrator account can be active at any time, the current administrator account will automatically be deactivated or, if the user never submitted any data forms to a registry, the account will be deleted entirely.
