Accreditation fees are detailed by modality in the table below, including fees for repeats, additional units and adding modules or new patient types. Separate fees for a phantom may apply, if required by the modality. However, the phantom fee will be paid directly to the manufacturer and not to the ACR.
Note: The US fee for replacement certificates is $50 ($65 for mammography). All fees are non-refundable and subject to change without notice.
Discount for Multiple Modalities
When a single practice site location applies for three or more modalities (excluding mammography), it will receive a 10-percent discount on the final calculated fee for that site. For example, if a site is already accredited (or is in the process of accreditation) in MRI and CT, and decides to add Nuclear Medicine, it will receive the 10-percent discount on the initial Nuclear Medicine accreditation, as well as on the subsequent MRI and CT renewal fees. When you apply online, the system will automatically calculate your fee to include the discount. In addition, the ACR offers multi-site, multi-unit pricing discounts for large practices. For details regarding multi-site, multi-unit pricing discounts for large practices submit a support ticket using the subject line “discount request.”
International Facilities
ACR is not accepting new applications from international facilities due to ever-changing regulatory requirements associated with the transfer, use and protection of personal information.

Radiation Oncology | Fees are based on site surveys. The fee for the main facility is $9,500. Each additional site is $3,000 (Facilities that include a main site plus 9 or more satellite sites, please contact the ACR for pricing). Fees include surveyor team travel expenses in the US only. If a facility has not been granted accreditation and requires a follow-up survey, a fee of $5,000 must be submitted prior to scheduling the site visit. Any requested cancellation or change of the survey date by the facility after ACR has invested funds in the survey (e.g. travel funds) must be reimbursed by the facility in addition to the survey fee.
