The GRID Data Quality Report shows which data elements are missing from the data forms submitted to the registry. The report helps you identify which forms may be incomplete, or not submitted at all, so you can take corrective action.
Reports are posted semiannually and are available in PDF format through the Aggregate Reports menu item in the NRDR Homepage Facility Management menu. The report is generated only for those facilities with missing forms or data elements, or invalid data elements. It only lists data elements that you entered for at least one month. If you never reported a certain data element at all it is not listed on the report because we assume the omission was intentional.
Note: We will notify you, via e-mail, if a report is available for download so that you have time to review and correct any problems before we create the semiannual GRID aggregate reports. Invalid data are not included in aggregate reports, so make sure you take corrective action when needed.
The report lists each data element and denotes which months are missing Monthly Facility form or Monthly Physician form data. In some cases, additional information may be provided, such as inconsistent or invalid data. If a cell is blank on the report, then no issue was detected with the corresponding data element/month. For example, this table shows that we have the number of radiography exams for January-April, but not May or June.
